After a long surf session, nothing distracts Clay from devouring a big meal (egg & bacon sandwich, fried rice, banana pancakes), not even a stripper counting a massive stack of one dollar bills at the counter of his favorite local breakfast spot.

I just got home back to Hawaii the other day, getting all my camera gear organized for the Hawaii and Northern Pacific winter. I recently picked up some new items, a 16mm film Camera that shoots 200fps. This is going to be so much fun capturing slow motion action of Rock Star Surfers. I also picked up the Nikon D3s which lets me shoot in near dark conditions. This is great because allot of the times the waves don’t get good till right when the sun sets or right when it comes up. I added the nikon 14-24mm 2.8 port to my water housing which will give a whole new perspective to the north shore this winter. Below is a image of Ry Craike during a shoot last year when I went and visited him up in Kalbarri. Stay tuned for all the fresh images of the North Shore here at Rockstarsurfing.com.

Clay and Makana surfing their favorite beachie.
Makana is the youngest of the three Eleogram bros and he rips just as hard as Ola and Benel.
